East Harlem's Dave East links up with Chris Brown for his new single “Perfect,” the first track from Paranoia. The forthcoming EP drops Aug. 18 via Def Jam Recordings/Mass Appeal Records.

On "Perfect," Dave East and Chris Brown show their softer side as the rap abut their significant others and how she deserves only the best.

"You deserve it 'cause you perfect (perfect)/You make every moment worth it (every moment)/I'm flyin' down Collins, I'm shirtless (skrr)/Just thinking how you might've curved it/I knew you a minute, don't act like you don't know the business/I've been tryin' to get all up in it/Gave you my card, I don't know 'bout no limit/They can't see us in that foreign, it was tinted," Dave East raps.

Paranoia will be Dave East first project since signing his major label deal with Def Jam. The former collegiate athlete has seen his popularity rise since he was selected to the 2016 XXL Freshman class. His last project, Kairi Chanel, was a huge success last year. The 15-track project, named after East’s daughter, contained features from Beanie Sigel, Cam’ron, Fabolous and more. Since then, he's been dropping East-mixs of today's hottest records such as The Weeknd's "Party Monster," Future’s “Mask Off” and Drake’s “Free Smoke.”
