Ellison High School Girl Hit While Crossing Trimmier Road

According to KWTX-TV, the 15-year-old Ellison High School sophomore was in critical condition when a helicopter was called to pick her up.

The girl was struck by a vehicle while crossing the road in the 3800 block of Trimmier near the school.

KCEN-TV reports that the girl was on her cellphone when she was hit by a Nissan Cube.
