Fort Hood Soldier Leaves Killeen Night Club, Then Kills His Child’s Mother
This is just tragic and unfortunate for all parties involved, especially for the child.
KWTX reports that a Fort Hood soldier shot his child's mother after leaving a Killeen nightclub and is now being held in Bell County Jail.
24-year-old Nakealon Keunte Mosley reportedly had an altercation with Francine Martinez, the mother of his child and a fellow soldier, after the two got into an altercation in the club's parking lot.
The two are said to have gotten into a heated argument after running into each other inside the club on September 2nd.
Investigators say Martinez drove away, after which Mosley pulled up next to her in his vehicle and fired several shots into her vehicle, striking her in the head.
Martinez was able to drive herself to Seton Medical Center in Harker Heights, but later died of her gunshot wounds last Thursday, September 16th.
Mosley was arrested and charged with aggravated assault of a family member with a deadly weapon and discharge of a firearm in a municipality. He is now in Bell County Jail being held on a $505,000 bond.
If Mosley's found guilty, the child now has to live with the fact that his mom was killed by his father, and his father will probably be in jail for the rest of his life.
Both Mosley and Martinez were Fort Hood soldiers assigned to the First Cavalry Division. Mosley was a corporal assigned to the 3rd Brigade Combat Team.
