If you're a night owl or just want to stay up late to see some natural beauty, tonight's the night.

Paige Kimball with KXXV-TV reports that the last full moon of the year will happen Thursday, December 12th, and according to the Farmers' Almanac it will be at 100% at 12:12 am.

That makes it a full moon at 12:12 on 12/12.

That's just twelve days before Christmas Eve and twelve hours before most people's lunch break!

Alright, I spent a good hour trying to find cool facts about the number twelve and nothing is wowing me. I mean, there's plenty of stuff, but is it being the last single-syllable number worth sharing? Not really.

But anyway, we can all synchronize our watches and have a moon watching party on the porch in the wee hours of the night Thursday. Maybe get some cool 12-12 glasses, do twelve shots of moonshine, and have a grand ol' time. (As long as that time is 12:12 AM.)
