Shooting Victim Taken To Hospital

A woman was hospitalized in serious condition Thursday after being shot at a home in Harker Heights.

As reported by KWTX, police responded to a house in the 1400 block of Loblolly Lane shortly before 2 PM. A woman who suffered a gunshot wound to the torso was transported to Scott & White Medical Center in Temple.

A man called 911 about the shooting was taken into custody. Police say the shooting occurred during a domestic dispute.
