One family's drive through Hell has given the world an inside look at what it's like to be caught in the middle of a massive wildfire.

Julie Wolf and her husband captured the footage while driving through Anderson Springs, California - just one of several towns currently ablaze as a result of the so-called Valley Fire raging across Northern CA.

The images are like something out of a horror movie and show the utter devastation the fire has caused to thousands in just a few days. California fire officials say the blaze broke out Saturday afternoon and has since consumed over 61,000 acres of land and hundreds of homes, making it the most destructive fire of 2015 thus far.

Mrs. Wolf and her husband were visiting her mother-in-law when the fire threatened to consume her home, and they were forced to drive through the fire as there was only one road leading out of town. She has set up a GoFundMe page in hopes of helping her mother-in-law rebuild after the fire.
