Recently, the Marlin Independent School District announced that all classes will be canceled for students on Friday, May 9, according to KCENT. The district has been experiencing ongoing low water pressure at both of its campuses, which prompted the closure. The district stated that full water pressure is not expected to be restored until late Friday afternoon or evening. As a result, an optional workday will be offered to staff, while students will have the day off.
