Anger? Revenge? Stupidity? Call it what you want, but the Killeen Police Department are now looking for the person who tried to light up this local business but thankfully failed.

According to the report from KXXV Channel 25 News, Killeen PD are trying to identify the person seen in the video above.

Ricky Britt, owner of Tow Masters Towing & Trucking, tells Channel 25 News that he received camera alerts at about 3:30 in the morning on Wednesday, March 3rd, but must have slept through them.

The video footage shows the man attempting to burn the building mixing his chemicals for about 30 minutes before trying to light the door ablaze.

Fortunately, James Oltmann, lead driver at Tow Masters, showed up shortly after the suspect left and noticed the soot and burns on the door and called Britt immediately. Oltmann tells Channel 25 News, “I could see soot and burns on the bottom of the door and everything like that, Call Ricky and said, ‘Hey I think somebody’s tried to set the building on fire.'"

The inside of the building was filled with smoke, but fortunately the fire stopped at the door. Britt says he doesn't know why someone would want to burn down his business. “We don’t know where it’s coming from," he said. "That’s what we would love to know. Where is it coming from - why."

Unsure of why someone would target his business, Britt and the Killeen PD are asking anyone with information to please come forward and report what they know.

If you have any information or recognize the suspect, you are asked to call the Killeen Police Department at (254) 501-8830.
