Killeen Police Investigating Fatal Morning Shooting

Police are investigating after a man was fatally shot on the porch of a Killeen home Friday morning.

The shooting occurred in the 4500 block of Lake Road shortly before 6:40 AM, when officers were called to the scene.

Witnesses told police a man stepped out onto the porch of a home and was gunned down.

Police have not released much information, but some neighbors have reportedly said they saw two men trying to force their way into several houses along the block.
