Killeen Students Safe After Tuesday Morning Bus Crash

No injuries were reported after a driver hit a school bus in Killeen early Tuesday morning.

The collision occurred shortly before 8 AM at an intersection of Stan Schlueter Loop and FM 440.

KWTX-TV reports that a bus en route to Ellison High School was in the left turn lane attempting to enter FM 440 when the driver of a Jeep pulled up alongside it and tried to turn left from an inside lane.

The Jeep hit the bus, causing only minor damage. No injuries were reported, and no ambulance was called. Students were evaluated by a school nurse upon arriving at Ellison.
