Kris Humphries + Kim Kardashian Have a Trial Date
Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian have been attempting to divorce longer than they were ever together, and it looks like they're finally making some headway to further their irrelevance.
Us Weekly reports that a judge ruled Friday (Feb. 15) that the estranged faux-reality couple will meet in court on May 6 -- and that they both need to be there.
This is all after Humphries' attorney quit, citing the same "irreconcilable differences" that Kardashian tried to use in her divorce papers.
Humphries' lawyer, Marshall Waller, left because Humphries insisted on an annulment based on fraud -- and despite watching hours upon hours of 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' footage, Waller found no actual evidence of said fraud. Waller filed his own walking papers a day before he was scheduled to appear in court for Humphries to ask for yet another delay in setting a trial date.
"It's sad Kris is playing this game," a Kardashian source that may or may not be Kris Jenner said. "Kim doesn't think he can be happy until he moves on."
By those standards, she should be overjoyed. Waller had previously argued that Kardashian and her attorney, Laura Wasser, were using the spawn of Satan Kimye to speed up the trial before he was ready.
Poor Humph may have had better luck asserting fraud if there were discussions about the natural state of his estranged wife's face.
