Lil’ Kim and Faith Evans Squash Beef Over Biggie for Bad Boy Reunion Tour
There are some hip-hop related feuds that have escalated over time, tracks, disses and comments stacking up high, building a tower of beef. And then there are other feuds that are simple and clear-cut, a single incident the catalyst for future tensions. For Lil' Kim and Faith Evans, their disdain for one another can be directly pin-pointed to the night 20 years ago when Faith caught Kim with her husband The Notorious B.I.G. in bed together on Christmas Eve.
With Puffy Daddy's upcoming Bad Boy reunion show and tour, many wondered if all the artists on the bill would get along, and based on a video posted to Instagram on Tuesday (May 17) Kim and Faith have patched things up just fine, the two laughing in rehearsals as Kim raps to the 1995 Junior Mafia hit “Get Money."
Evans detailed the night she caught Big and Kim in her 2008 memoir Keep the Faith, which illuminates some of the bad blood between the two. “I stopped throwing punches for a minute to get a look at the chick I was beating up. It was Lil Kim," she wrote. And later on, "I have to say I actually felt some pity for Kim. Big had a wife, and she settled for messing with him. Then he started dating Tiffany [Charli Baltimore] and Big had a wife and a mistress. And Kim settled for being the other other woman. It seemed pretty sad to settle for that."
Watch the two in the video above, which furthers the already growing excitement for the Bad Boy reunion event, taking place this weekend at Brooklyn's Barclays Center.
