After dropping songs like "Nasty One" and her latest single "Go Awff," Lil' Kim has confirmed her plans to drop her first studio album in over a decade.

Last night (March 25), the Brooklynite posted a photo of herself on Instagram and included not one but two announcements in her caption. Kim says that her video for "Go Awff" drops this Friday and her fifth studio album, 9, drops on May 17.

"Drip Too Hard 💧 | 💄My boo @beatbytwiggy 💇🏽‍♀️ @danteblandshaw 👖@shanejustin | “Go Awff” Video out Friday 🎥 | New Album “9” drops May 17th 💿 #goawff," Kim wrote in her caption.

Kim's last album The Naked Truth dropped back in 2005 via Atlantic Records and her Queen Bee imprint. The 22-track album features her smash single "Lighter's Up" and collaborations with Bun B, Twista, Maino, Snoop Dogg, The Game T.I. and Tameka "Tiny" Harris. Since then, Kim has dabbled in film and fashion. Yet, her most recent gig as a mother has consumed the majority of her time since she gave birth to her daughter Royal Reign in 2014.

Soon after making her announcement, Kim's friend Missy Elliott congratulated her on the upcoming LP. There aren't a lot of details about the album's tracklisting just yet. However, back in February, Kim teased the possibility of inviting Musiq Soulchild to the studio on Instagram. Prior to that, Kim dropped other bangers like "Spicy" featuring Fabolous and "Wake Me Up" with Remy Ma.

The news comes just about a month-and-a-half after Kim praised Cardi B for winning the gramophone for Best Rap Album at the 2019 Grammy Awards. Kim joined the likes of Remy Ma, Iggy Azalea and Rapsody as rappers who were all genuinely excited to see Bardi accept her first Grammy.

"Thank U Jesus!!!! Look at God 🙌 Congratulations boo @iamcardib you deserve it!! So happy for you ❤️ #GRAMMYs," Lil' Kim tweeted.

Look out for Lil Kim's album dropping May 17.
