Sometimes a headline makes you go cross-eyed and do a double take. That happened to me when I came across this story from our news partners at KWTX.

They report that a teenager arranged to meet a second teen at the Tennyson  Middle School track in Waco to sell him marijuana. The first teen planned to steal the second's money, figuring he could outrun the potential victim, who's described as "heavyset".

It turns out heavy guy had plans of his own. He showed up with a gun and made off with the weed dealer's cellphone. The "victim" was turned over to the custody of his grandparents. I'm sure he'll have a new phone in no time, so don't worry about him.

Police are searching for the second teen, who's described as a black male, 15 or 16 years old, standing 5'2", weighing about 150 pounds, with light skin and an Afro hair style. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, gray shorts, and running shoes.

One wonders if the first guy's phone might be pinged.
