A man wanted for murder in Louisiana was in the Bell County Jail Thursday awaiting extradition to Jefferson Parrish.

The U.S. Marshall’s Office Lone Star Fugitive Task Force contacted the Killeen police Thursday morning for assistance in apprehending 27-year-old Rashaud Robinson.

Robinson was taken into custody at 3901 Mustang Drive at 11:42 AM without incident. He’s charged with one count of First Degree Murder and two counts of First Degree Attempted Murder.

Police say Robinson fatally shot 34-year-old Jeffery Johnson on the porch of a home in Metairie, Louisianna on September 7, 2016. He's also suspected  of shooting a 16-year-old boy, who sustained a minor injury. One other potential victim was able to escape the scene of the crime uninjured.
