Macy’s in Temple Mall Closing – Clearance Begins May 15

Macy's in Temple's Colonial Mall will soon shut its doors, the company announced Thursday.

According to a press release, the Temple location will begin a final clearance sale Monday, May 15. The release did not specify when the store would close for good. Macy's website reflects the final clearance status as well.

In the release, the company reported first quarter earnings of $5.338 billion - a decrease of 7.5% compared to the first quarter of 2016. The company believes the decrease came as a result of store closures announced last year.
