Big congratulations are in order for several student athletes in Killeen ISD scheduled to sign their letters of intent on Wednesday.

School signings will begin at Ellison High School Wednesday morning at 9AM and continue through 3:30 PM at Harker Heights High.

Central Texas students who've excelled in football, track, volleyball, baseball, softball, basketball, soccer, and wrestling will be committing to their athletic and academic futures. It's a big day that's come after a lot of hard work, dedication, and discipline, so we have to commend these students, along with the coaches, teammates, family, and friends who've pushed them and encouraged them to live up to their full potential.

While some will begin their college careers right here in Central Texas at UMHB and McClennan Community College, others will be heading to schools across the Lone Star State and the country. Wherever they sign, these athletes are already in a great position to play the sports they love while pursuing their degrees and laying the foundations for success.

Check out the list of 38 Killeen ISD athletes who'll be signing tomorrow below, and be sure to congratulate them if you know them. KISD spokeswoman Taina Maya said some names could be added Wednesday.

We wish all of these athletes the very best as they prepare for their future and follow their passion. Congratulations to all of you!
