The tragic news of Sandy Hook Elementary School has affected the nation as a whole. Like many of us, musicians have taken to social media to share their emotions and show their support.

On Sunday B106 artist Mike Posner posted his support to the victims of the shooting by releasing his musical tribute, “Heaven.”

The 'Cooler Than Me' singer posted a handwritten message on Instagram dedicating the song to the victim’s families.

'Today makes no sense...God has blessed me with this gift and it felt wrong not to share it. I hope this song finds its way to proper ears," he tweeted, "I wanted to do SOMETHING for the victims' families. I wrote this song because I didn't know what else to do."
