KWTX's Rissa Shaw reported that a teenager that had been missing in Navarro County has been found.

Authorities in the Navarro County area said that the teenager was the focus of an overnight search in the area. When the teen was found, authorities said he was confused but wasn't injured.

The missing teenager was Joseph Cortez, 14, and he had disappeared around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Authorities said, "Cortez walked up to a home along Interstate 45."

Thermal imaging cameras and a drone were used in the overnight search for Joseph Cortez. Cortez was last seen south of Corsicana near SW 0030 and FM 709.

Sheriff of Navarro County, Elmer Tanner, said, "The boy's mother said the teenager, who has a mental impairment and is on medication, has walked off before, but nothing to this extent."
