New 50’s themed RV Park/ splash pad approved, and construction improvements in Temple are coming!
Temple's City Council held the first of two monthly meetings Thursday morning and here is a wrap up of what was discussed today:
New 50's-themed RV park approved
The Temple City Council approved a conditional use permit for a new recreational vehicle (RV) park off North General Bruce Drive across from Buc-ee's. The 117-spot RV Park, tentatively named "Bellaire Junction," will feature a playground with a splash pad, two fenced dog parks, a coffee bar, park, and much more! Stop by Bc-ee's first THEN hit up the RV Park!
Design to begin for aesthetic improvements in North Art District
The Temple City Council authorized design funding for the new North Art District, which includes the Frank W. Mayborn Civic & Convention Center as well as the Cultural Arts Center.
Annexed area improvements to include the design of new Blackland Road extension
The Temple City Council agreed to fund the design of a new roadway extension, as well as water and wastewater improvements in the newly annexed areas of southeast Temple. Improvements include the extension of Blackland Road from Old Highway 95 to Highway 95, extending 12-inch water main along the new roadway and more!
