It is not any type of recent news update to discuss just how much Central Texans love their chicken restaurants from the never ending lines around the corner at Chick-fil-A to people waiting on their buckets at KFC or Popeye's. So, news that we are about to finally get our very first Bojangles is right up there with the exuberant anticipation we have for Shaquille O'Neal's Big Chicken to open in Killeen, and become Central Texas very first location for another quickly growing chicken franchise.

After bar-b-que (which does feature plenty of chicken), fried chicken is head to head with pizza for the most popular meal in our home, and I do hope the Lorena menu features fried chicken in addition to the ever so popular strips that are offered at almost every drive-through restaurant in the South.

New Bojangles In Lorena Will Be Central Texas's First

Do not start lining up now because Bo's will not be opening for a few more months, but you very well could be enjoying their chicken, biscuits, and Bo-tato rounds by Labor Day. If you are looking for employment, you can check out their website here because it is estimated they will be hiring between 30 and 40 according to this KWTX article, and most likely training will begin sooner than later.

Bo already knows chicken, and pretty soon they will know how much Central Texas loves fried bird as well.
