Today couldn't get any better until one of my co-workers announced it is National Pasta Day today! An internet search began to find out who had the best pasta joint in Killeen, Texas began immediately. I am a fan of thin/angel hair spaghetti, ravioli, and lasagna (hold the ricotta please). What about you?

TripAdvisor puts Little Italy high up on the map. They have a pretty extensive menu with pictures and pasta galore! As you are scolling, check it out, they even have soups with pasta in it!

#2 LA GONDOLA - 515 W VETERANS MEMORIAL BLVD.

According to some of the locals and their website, "La Gondola has been a staple of the community for years." Their puttanesca pasta has olives, capers, and anchovies in a tomato sauce oh my! I just may have to go see what that is all about.

#3 GIOVANNIS - 115 WEST HIGHWAY 190

If you are near the Cove, Giovanni's is always mentioned. One of my besties has told me about this place on more than one occasion. Have you given them a try yet? Should I make an appearance? I love the create-your-own-bowl option. Do note, it doesn't look like they have a kid's menu, so this may be a great pasta-date-night spot for tonight.

#4 JOE'S PIZZA AND PASTA - 408 N FORT HOOD ST.

Joe's Pizza and Pasta doesn't look like they have a shortage of pasta options after looking at their menu. Yikes! Remember I told you earlier that ravioli is one of my faves? Well, they have tempted by taste buds with not one, not two, but three fried ravioli options. Now that takes their pasta selection to a whole new level.

#5 OLIVE GARDEN - 2811 E CENTRAL TEXAS EXPWY

Now you know I couldn't leave all of my classic "OG" peeps hangin'. If you want to just celebrate with what you know, and with no fuss, you could play it safe and go the Olive Garden route. You can just pull the I-could-make-it-at-home-but-don't-want-to card tonight, right? Tap the app below and let me know in the chat if you've had to do that before lol.
