It looks Quavo is getting into the movie business.

On Wednesday (Dec. 11), the Migos rapper hopped on his Twitter account and revealed the new film project that he’s producing. “Wow Jus WATCH MY FIRST HORROR FILM I PRODUCED,” he wrote in a tweet. “The Resort Coming Soon, thanks @willmeldman.”

Will Meldman is the founder and CEO of Double Down Pictures, which is backing the scary flick. There’s no word on when—or if— Quavo’s horror movie The Resort will arrive in theaters.

Quavo, who released his solo project Quavo Huncho back in October 2018, has always shown interest in making films. In an October 2017 interview with Zane Lowe on Beats 1 Radio, Migos were asked what they were planning next in their careers, Offset said movies.

“My boy Quavo [is] writing the scripts," he told the radio personality. "He been in that kitchen trying to whip up."

Quavo added that he’s been a film buff since he was a teenager. "I'm a '90s baby and all my favorite movies got all my dope artists in 'em,” he said before running down a list of films the ATL group was inspired by. "Juice, Menace II Society, all the Snoop Dogg movies, Master P movies, I Got the Hook-Up, Baller Blockin' the Big Tymers movie. That's what we're doing right now; we're looking into the script."

Quavo joins a list of rappers who have gone on to produce movies in Hollywood, like Master P, Eminem, Pharrell Williams, Ice Cube and many others.
