Really, it’s over 100 Texans representing The Lone Star State in Rio at The Olympics!

Whether these Texans were born and raised here, live here now, went to high school here, played sports at a college here in Texas went to jail here.... kidding (some of them probably have tho) or currently play for a team in Texas, you made the cut!!!

For instance, Deandre Jordan, star center for the Los Angeles Clippers who was born and raised in Houston, is playing for the 2016 DREAM Team!

Then there's Lennie Waite, born in the UK, she now lives in Austin. She is running for Great Britain in the 3000m Steeplechase.

Michael Tinsley currently lives in Round Rock and will be competing for the 400M Hurdle, Next Monday.

Phyllis Francis is 24, lives in College Station and will be competing in the 400m and 4x400m relay!

Also, Townley Haas who will be a sophomore at UT next year just won the gold in the 4x200m freestyle relay!
