Robert Griffin III Boulevard Dedication

One of Copperas Cove's favorite sons is coming home Friday, March 8!

The whole community is invited to join Copperas Cove city staff, EDC personnel, Copperas Cove ISD and fans at the intersection of Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive and Robert Griffin III Boulevard at 2 p.m. as RG3 and his family cut the ribbon to formally dedicate the roadway named in his honor.

Griffin, a former Bulldawg quarterback and track star, won the Heisman Trophy after wrapping up his college career at Baylor.  He's currently the captain and starting quarterback of the NFL's Washington Redskins.

A CCISD community luncheon will take place before the dedication
