See The Trailer for the New Film ‘Black Nativity’ Based on the Langston Hughes Play [VIDEO]
KSSM has a look at one of the most anticipated film's of the holiday season, starring a collection of Oscar winning actors and some of the biggest names in the music indsustry.
Oscar-winners Forest Whitaker and Jennifer Hudson join Oscar-nominee Angela Bassett in the film of Langston Hughes' celebrated play of the same name. Featuring traditional Christmas songs sung in Gospel style, the movie also stars musical artists including Mary J. Blige, Tyrese Gibson, Luke James and Nas.
Directed by Kasi Lemmons, who made the acclaimed films 'Eve's Bayou' and 'The Caveman's Valentine,' 'Black Nativity' is set to hit theaters in November.
