There are plenty of ways to get money and even more ways to show it off. Washington, D.C.'s own Shy Glizzy has been getting to it, remaining one of the most popular names out of his city and taking his sound around the world. Today (Aug. 22), he premieres "Do You Understand?," his latest video with XXL, which also features verses from the ever-surging Gunna and Canadian jack-of-all-trades Tory Lanez.

The visual kicks off with with an aerial view of a beautiful island mansion. Upon closer look, there are lots of women at the expensive compound, with Glizzy holding court at the pool with them. A jacuzzi scene, where the girls play with Glizzy's jewelry, and a warehouse full of guns and money also is all part of the fun. Both Gunna and Tory Lanez are there, running through their verses.

The song's chorus is super catchy, with Glizzy rapping about a route to the money. "Girl you need a man, and he need them bands/And y'all need a plan and y'all can't be playin'" is how he opens it. He then seeks clarity over the next few lines: "Do you understand, what the fuck that I'm sayin'?/Do you understand, yeah, yeah, what the fuck that I'm sayin'?"

Shy Glizzy is never one to take a break, and his last few months add credence to that. In March, he dropped videos for "Make It Out" and "Keep It Goin." Just a few months before that, he teamed up with Rico Nasty for her "Key Lime OG" remix. And in 2017, he delivered his Quiet Storm project.
