One of Texas' biggest events is the latest victim of the COVID-19 scare, as Austin Mayor Steve Adler announced Friday that South by Southwest is cancelled.

So I attended SXSW this year and may I say once again I had a blast even got a chance to sit on a panel! I also got a chance to chat with The Boy Illinois who performed at a few shows at SXSW! The past few years he's been working. According to XXL Magazine in addition to his last few projects he's dropped in 2015 and in 2017 this year he plans to drop 2 albums...

So while I am attending all these shows with artists who are signed to major record labels I am also checking out a few showcases where unsigned artists are performing. After all, the artists signed were once hungry artists trying to get it...
