#TBT: When Jay-Z First Heard “Dirt Off Your Shoulders”

We all know Jay-Z is one of the all-time greats in hip hop, and today we take look back at his 2004 film "Fade To Black" where Jay once and for all lets us in on his creative process. 

In this clip from "Fade To Black", super producer Timbaland is in the process of playing new beats for Jay to consider for "The Black Album". When Timbo unleashes the beat which would later become "Dirt Off Your Shoulders", Jay's reaction is priceless! Before you know it, Jay's creating a mega-smash and didn't write a lyric down in the process. Its an amazing look inside one of hip-hop's all time greats!
