Temple Man Charged with Indecency with a Child

A 35-year-old Temple man was behind bars Tuesday night, accused of having had a inappropriate contact with a 13-year-old girl.

Our partners at News 10 report that Eric Ryan Thornal was arrested for alleged incidents that occurred between 2009 and 2011. Police did not comment on whether the girl was a student of the school at which he worked at the time. Thornal was most recently employed as a middle school counselor in Temple.

Thornal appeared on the Bell County Jail roster Tuesday evening. According to records, he was booked at 3:58 PM and charged with second degree felony indecency with a child, sexual contact. His bond was set at $80,000.
