Temple Police, ATF Searching for Hawkeye Shooting Academy Burglary Suspects

Temple police are asking for the public's help locating and identifying suspects in a shooting range burglary.

Temple PD and and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives report that three people broke into Hawkeye Shooting Academy, 119 North 19th Street, on April 5. Investigators say at least three people broke into the range between 11 PM and 1 AM and stole 30 guns from display racks.

The suspects were only described as slim men believed to be 18 years of age.

So far, police have only released details about one suspect: 18-year-old Esteban Allan Aguilar. He's described as approximately 5'9" in height, 170 lbs., and having several tattoos on his face. (See photo above.)

Police have released several surveillance stills in hopes that someone will recognize the other suspects or come forward with information. (See photos below.)

ATF Houston Field Division Special Agent in Charge Fred Milanowski said Thursday that recovering stolen firearms is a top priority for the agency. He's asking that anyone with information about the break-in, the suspects, or the stolen arms contact the ATF at 1-888-ATF-TIPS.

Tips can be submitted anonymously, and the ATF is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of those responsible for this burglary.
