Another local artist stopped by the B106 studio Wednesday to chat it up with Trey about the Central Texas music scene.

Temple rapper Papah Soljah's learned some life lessons the hard way, and now he's channeling that energy into music produced right here in Central Texas.

"I went through a lot of pain, a lot of struggle, a lot of trials and tribulations," he said. "I'm trying to take the old hustle I used to have and turn it into a good hustle."

Papah faced an aggravated robbery charge not long ago, and credits the grace of God with delivering him from that situation and giving him another chance. That experience on top of situations he faced growing up and love for his family inspire what he's doing musically.
