Texas Doctor Now Heading To Prison For $70 Million Scam

According to this KVUE article, Dr. David M. Young, 61, has now finally been sentenced to 10 years in prison following his conviction for a $70 million dollar Medicare scheme last May. How anyone can suddenly start charging Medicare $70 million out of the blue, and not think some auditor or accountant somewhere won't immediately recognize it as a red flag is well beyond my, never went to college, brain.

I was probably 5 years old when I was taught the concept of risk vs. reward, and for all his ridiculous $70 million billing, Dr. Young was paid out less than a half million dollars. Do not even bother with reaching for your phone's calculator, that is only 2/3 of a penny per dollar billed.
