Del Valle, Texas Independent School District is being sued by as many as 35 current and former employees that most likely make up both faculty and staff positions, and that could just be the very beginning of the lawsuits for very serious crimes that date back to as early as 2018.

Just before Christmas in 2022, Del Valle ISD notified employees that a recording device had been used in one of the many bathrooms of the Del Valle Opportunity Center, and a cache of memory cards and USB drives were also recovered containing close to 3 years worth of video.

According to this KXAN article, Del Valle ISD had hired contractors to install vape detectors into the bathrooms to combat student electronic smoking devices on school property, and while they were working on campus, they found a pouch with several drives and memory cards.

Upon further investigation, it was determined that an additional 5 bathrooms had hidden cameras at one point or another, and all had been removed before DVISD Police could find them.

Texas ISD Now Facing Massive Invasion Of Privacy Lawsuit

The employees bringing suit claim the school district failed to protect them from a known threat that had complaints filed against them as early as 2018.

Upon reviewing the recordings, authorities determined that students and other minors were also recorded, and now we wait to see if they or their parents will also be bringing suits against the school district.

New Austin Super Tower Will Be The Tallest Building in Texas by 20 Feet

Currently, the title of the tallest building in Austin goes to The Independent, and the tallest in the state is the JPMorgan Chase Tower in downtown Houston.
