Texas man carrying a hatchet, attempts to board school bus

A man who attempted to get on a school bus filled with children carrying a hatchet was arrested earlier this week

KWTX reports that the man told TV station KXXI that he’s sorry he did it

Reportedly, 59-year-old Dennis Michael Richardson tried to board a school bus in Sherman, Texas when he stepped to the top step of the school bus when the driver told him to leave.
Richardson told TV station KXII that 2 kids were playing with a hatchet on his property, he said he took the hatchet from the kids, and that he was going to tell the bus driver about it.

According to police, Richardson was arrested for criminal trespassing and no children were harmed.
