The obituary of a Texas man who recently died of COVID-19 has gone viral.

WFAA reports that David Nagy of Jefferson, Texas died on July 22 after contracting the novel coronavirus. His wife Stacey wrote his obituary, and it's getting people's attention.

Nagy reportedly suffered a fall back in March and was placed at a rehab center that experienced an outbreak of COVID-19 while he was there.

His wife, Stacey, submitted his obituary to a local newspaper, and she didn't mince words.

The obituary states that David "suffered greatly from the ravages of the COVID-19 virus and the separation from his much loved family who were not allowed at his bedside."

The obituary further reads:

"Also to blame are the many ignorant, self centered and selfish people who refused to follow the advice of the medical professionals, believing their “right” not to wear a mask was more important than killing innocent people. Dave did everything he was supposed to do, but you did not. Shame on all of you, and may Karma find you all!"

When the obituary first began trending, some people believed it was a hoax. Stacey has been responding to as many people as she can to confirm its authenticity.
