Get ‘Em While You Can – H-E-B in Killeen, Texas Has Free N95 Masks While Supplies Last
H-E-B pharmacies in Texas are offering free N95 masks in Temple and Killeen, Texas.
Free COVID Tests
You may remember recently seeing the story about four free, at home COVID-19 tests that are available through the United States Postal Service website.
The process of getting yours is quick and easy. You go to the website, enter some quick info like your name and address, and the government will send you four free at-home tests.
Now getting free N95 masks is as easy as visiting the H-E-B Pharmacy.
The San Antonio Express News reports that 400 million masks have been shipped to both pharmacies and community health centers courtesy of the Biden administration in an effort to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.

Why N95 & KN95
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says that the safer option with masks is the N95 and KN95. Both offer better protection against coronavirus and its variants than the cloth or masks.
Other pharmacies and health care centers will also offer the free N95 mask to anyone looking to get one. CVS and their pharmacies inside Target store will be included in the distribution of the free masks.
Walgreens said they should have their supplies in by mid-February and will also distribute the masks for free, according to a news release.
The CDC's website has a list of all the pharmacies and community health care centers participating in the federal mask-distribution program.
While the pandemic continues, I want to remind everyone to take steps to protect yourself. Vaccines are available, as are free masks. Be considerate of others who may be vulnerable to the worst symptoms of COVID-19 and mask up in crowded public spaces. Give people some space when possible, and if you're sick, stay home.
Let's do our best to put this whole thing behind us already.
