
Texas Teen Murder Suspect Now On The Run After Shooting
Manor, Texas is investigating a drive-by shooting that killed a teenager, and sent another gunshot victim to the hospital in what authorities believe was an intentional targeting and not a chance encounter.

According to this KVUE article, officers responded to a shots fired call and when they arrived on the scene, they found two people who had been shot in a vehicle that had ended up in a ditch. 19 year old Victor Ekozeme was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other gunshot victim was transported to a nearby hospital.

Police Believe Shooting Victims Were Targeted, Not Random Attack
The shooting occurred off Wildhorse Ranch Trail near the 130 toll road at an apartment complex. After the gunfire began, Okozeme attempted to drive away, but quickly lost control of his vehicle due to being mortally wounded, and the vehicle ended up in the ditch.

We are only in our fourth week of the new year, and this is already Austin's fourth homicide. Police also have very little to work with in this investigation thus far, so they are welcoming all information sources to connect by calling the APD tip line at 512-974-TIPS.

Police, again, do believe this attack was intentional and there is not likely to be any immediate threat to the general public. Regardless of that assessment, nobody wants a murderer free on the streets of Central Texas.
