Texas has over a quarter of a million square miles, so there is always plenty of land for everyone to enjoy and welcome all of our newest residents year after year, but not just any ole place will do if you are looking for an opportunity at a better life. So, the choices are a plenty, but one might begin to wonder where all the necessary water will present itself.

It probably is no surprise that many of the people moving to Texas are heading towards one of the many metros located within the Texas triangle that is drawn from Dallas and Fort Worth, to Houston, over to San Antonio, and then back up through Austin to D/FW. What might surprise you is how many suburbs and bedroom communities to these money making metros are included in the list of the worst places to live in Texas.

Most of the places that people choose to live are on the opposite sides of the attribute list you are going to see repeated at nauseum, and for good reason because who would want to live anywhere overrun with drugs and crime?

I honestly can't say I have ever been to more than two of the towns on this list, and have never lived in any of them. What about you?
