Reading lips while wearing a mask just became possible.

According to a report from our news partners at KWTX, a transparent mask made by the company ClearMask has recently been approved by the FDA.

As you may be aware, communicating with a mask can be a little tricky. Ever since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, people have come across small nuisances when wearing a mask. Those with glasses are troubled by masks because of the fog that can appear and block their vision. Then there's a community of people who face problems breathing in a mask, but what about our community that is hard of hearing?

One key portion of communication is reading the other person's lips, but that's impossible to do with a mask. To make matters worse, wearing a mask can muffle your voice and make it more difficult to express your thoughts to others.

Now with the FDA approval of the ClearMask, those with impaired hearing can benefit.

Currently the masks comes in medical and non-medical. Plus the masks are even anti fog for those with vision problems.
