Uber is making changes due to COVID-19.

After a month and some change of being on lock down, CenTex residents finally enjoyed some freedom this weekend. Many stores and restaurants were filled with people who were excited to be getting back to a normal life. Although Texas is one of the few states that have lifted the stay at home order, many big companies are still making changes for COVID-19 that will effect the state.

USA Today's Mike Snider reports that Uber executives have made the decision that all drivers and or riders must have a face mask on at all times. This requirement is expected to be enforced in the U.S. starting this week.

Uber has plans on supplying the mask to all of their drivers, but with limited supplies they aren't sure how long it will take to get them sent out.

According to CNN Business, Uber is also exploring the possibility of installing plastic dividers in vehicles and is urging drivers to disinfect their vehicles.

Will this new face mask rule be an inconvenience?

I think it's better safe then sorry!
