Waco ISD All Set To Provide Laptops, iPads, and Wi-fi Hotspots To Students

According to KXXV, starting Monday April 5th Waco ISD will begin distributing laptops and WIFI devices to families who need them.

In efforts to begin the next phase of at- home instructions for students the district is taking the necessary steps to ensure that no one is left behind. Superintendent Dr. Susan Kincannon said "WISD has been surveying families to understand their technology needs."

Families were asked to take a survey and indicate if they need devices or hotspots for their children to continue their studies at home.

Elementary students will mostly be distributed iPads, and middle and high school students will mostly be distributed laptops.

Not only is WISD making sure students have the devices the district will also begin supplementing physical learning materials that families picked up two weeks ago with instructional resources online.
