Waco Police need your help identifying a hit and run suspect.

The victim, Dennis Roberts was struck at about 8:45pm on Saturday evening by a driver of a Toyota Camry. According to KWTX, the incident occurred along Robinson Drive near Madison Drive in Waco.

The victim was operating his motorized wheelchair when he was struck by multiple vehicles and pinned under another vehicle. Police have learned that he was first struck by by a late 2000s model “dark grey Toyota Camry.” His chair was later found down the block due to the driver dragging i.t as he fled the scene.  Roberts was taken to Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest where he died due to his injuries.

According to witnesses the driver is described only as an African American man with dreadlocks and between the ages of 25 and 35. Investigators are asking anyone with information about the suspected driver or the vehicle to call Waco Crime Stoppers at (254)753-HELP (4357).
