Waco Regional Airport Is getting an upgrade!

Back in June, the airport received funding from the Federal Aviation Administration and the CARES Act, and now it looks like Waco has officially decided on a design team to do the upgrade.

The CaCo Architectural, LLC firm will begin to work on the $600,000 project. This project includes new baggage screening equipment, restroom facility updates, wall and floor finishes, replacements of the ceilings and light fixtures, new signage and furniture.

According to KWTX, the work should be completed by November 2021.

The city is understands the importance of having an airport that can handle the increase of tourism that we hope to see in the next year. This new look will give a first class impression.
