With that tweet, Walgreen's announced they will not sell the issue of Rolling Stone magazine that features a photo of the alleged Boston Marathon bomber Dzhohkar Tsarnaev. The magazine cover has sparked a great deal of controversy, with many condemning the magazine for glamorizing the suspected terrorist.  Some have called for a boycott of Rolling Stone, saying the cover glamorizes terrorism and insults the memory of those who died in the April 15 attack on the famed race.

"As a company with deep roots in New England and a strong presence in Boston, we believe this is the right decision out of respect for the victims of the attack and their loved ones," CVS Pharmacy said in a statement.

Will more stores and shops follow the lead of Walgreen's and CVS?

On Rolling Stone’s Facebook page, the most popular comment thus far says “Jeff Bauman, who lost both legs, should be on cover.” Bauman was in one of the most haunting, widely seen photos in the bombing’s aftermath, and was recently featured in The New York Times.

The magazine has not yet commented on the uproar.
