Wildfire Reported Near Killeen-Fort Hood Regional Airport Thursday Afternoon

Our news partner, KWTX, reports that a wildfire was threatening homes in the area near Reese Creek Road and Ivy Mountain Road Thursday afternoon.

The fire was reportedly caused by a blown transformer.

Residents of the Mountain View Mobile Home Park were evacuated, and people in nearby homes were being prepared for possible evacuation as firefighters continued to battle the flames.
