HOW IS A SMALL CHILD LEFT IN A CAR THIS LONG WITHOUT SUPERVISION?

According to social media, the Beeville Police Department said it appeared that the child’s grandmother had left, the small baby in the rear seat of the car in a car seat at 8:30 AM, and on Wednesday the grandmother, then allegedly returned and found the small child nonresponsive around 4 PM. Why a grandmother thought leaving a small child in a car for eight hours unable to defend or assist itself would be logical is beyond me. This truly infuriates me which I would think it would do to most parents hearing this story.

NEVER LEAVE A CHILD ALONE IN A CAR

Once the grandmother realized the child had died she called the police, according to a CBS affiliate. As of right now, this sad death is being investigated as a criminal homicide according to the police,  no official charges are being filed yet even though some are expected later on. It is not clear where the small child’s parents were at the time but KZ TV did report that they were notified. Keep in mind even if you’re just running into a convenience store, utilities, building, or even just running errands you must always take the child with you. Never leave your child in the car.

A few weeks ago, we asked listeners on Facebook about restaurants they missed that aren't around anymore in Temple, Texas.

Boy did we receive a great response!
