This has become a thing all across the country in major cities such as New York and Chicago and especially here in Texas,

Raise the minimum wage!

The federal minimum wage is $7.25, how is someone supposed to live off that?

Especially if the cost of living, gas, food etc keeps rising.

That's probably why Dallas County employees have voted to raise their minimum wage to $15 an hour starting October 1st.

The Dallas Morning News reported yesterday that the Dallas County Commissioners Court approved the raise by a 4-1 vote.

Dallas County now joins Austin and San Antonio raising their minimum wage to $15 an hour for its employees.

Reportedly, the minimum wage in Dallas is currently at $11 to $13 an hour.

Let's have a conversation about that, shall we?
