Hilarious TikTok Video Suggest People In Texas Are Too Dramatic When It Gets Cold
I will be the first one to admit, that I get too dramatic when it gets cold in Texas.
I'm originally from Chicago, born and raised in the Windy City. The weather has two extremes: It gets very cold in the winter months, and extremely hot in the summer (not as hot as Texas, though).
But when it gets cold...it gets cold!
Our winter weather would average being in the teens from November (or sooner) through March (sometimes later), with windchills below 20 below zero and lower.
Every time I make a reference to the cold weather here, someone from Texas says, "You should be used to this, you're from Chicago".
Blah blah blah....
I'll Take This Meteorological Seesaw Anyday
I've been so used to it being 90 degrees at 10:00 at night here in Texas, I just knew I wouldn't look back.
But here we are.
Although, I'm not complaining.
I'm ok with 2 cold days, then a relatively warm day, then it being cold again, then being rewarded with 2 consecutive 75 degree days.
It'll All Be Over Soon
As we all know, toward the middle of March the weather is going to start getting warmer, but there's also the occasional cold day.
And with that cold day, comes a lot of complaining.
Texas Woman's TikTok Video About Weather Goes Viral
A few weeks ago, a Texas woman posted a hilarious video perfectly stating what I've heard a few Texans say, and what I imagine most Texans think about this horrible cold weather.
The video by TikTok-er by @worldsokaitest has received more than 1.3 million views, and it deserves them all. Check it out, be aware that it contains profanity:
