Today is 'National Pancake Day', and IHOP is giving away a free short stack.

Call it Pancakes with a purpose for a worthy cause.

Today thru 7 pm at all IHOP restaurants you can enjoy a free short stack of IHOP's Original Buttermilk Pancakes for the free free!

They only ask for a donation to the Children's Miracle Network to help children battle critical illness.

Every stack that is served at all IHOP's across the country helps them reach their $5 million goal to donate to hospitals and health organizations.

IHOP has raised close to $30 million since 2006 with the "National Free Pancake Day".
